Gorome Day 1

We took HavasBus Airport transfer to SAW airport in the morning. SAW airport is another important airport in the Asian part of the Istanbul. The journey takes 2 hours in prime time. The flight duration to Kayseri is 1 hour and we reached at afternoon. We had booked hotel transfer and from Kayseri airport , Gorome town is around 70 kms. It was raining when we landed at Kayseri and we were hoping for sunshine as Hot Air baloon ride would be cancelled in bad weather.

We reached our stay post noon and rested for a while. In the evening, our host took us in his car for the town sightseeing and we bought groceries and vegetable. The dinner for the day was Upma and Corn Pasta prepared by yours only, Mrs. Sushma. Yummy it was. The Gorome town is filled with cave hotels which the place is known for and since ours being cave hotel , it was cold at night. We spent some time in the terrace, sky gazing and looking at distant castle and fairy chimneys.
