Istanbul Day 3
In case you missed {Istanbul Day 1} {Istanbul Day 2}
As Topkaki palace is closed on Tuesday, we had skipped it on Day 2. We decided it to cover it on Day 3 along with Gulhane park where Tulip Festival was held. In the month of April every year, Tulip Festival is held across Istanbul. Gulhane, Emirgan park are some of the famous spots to view Tulips
We started our sight seeing with at the Topkapi Palace, where the sultans lived for hundreds of years. It was very beautiful, and had a relaxing garden. Reminded us the Princess Jazmin and Rajah the tiger of Alladin fame.
Like I mentioned before, Istanbul spans 2 continents, Europe and Asia. It was surprising how it truly did provide a perfect blend of both cultures!
The Gulhane Park was next to Topkaki palace and we spent quality time, taking good pictures , savoring some local food. We reached our apartment in the evening and packed to leave to Gorome the next day.
