6 Must See Attractions in New York

Does Castle, White Collar, Suits TV shows  and  Spiderman , The Wolf of the Wall Street movies mean anything to you? They all have one in common. The New York City , also known as The Big Apple. The city is vibrant, colorful and always on the move. The tall concrete structures seem to befriend distant stars.

The city has lot of places to explore and for time constraint visitors, I would like to recommend the 6 must visit places.

1)Times Square

Times Square Avenue

Lights, Camera and Action describe well the place. The lights are on 24/7, one can visit any Broadway show and lots of artists on road showcasing their talent. The above picture was captured at 1 AM.

2) City skyline view
 View from Empire State Building

There are a number of the places to view the skyline. I strongly recommend view from the Top of the Rock as it offers of the view of the iconic Empire State Building.

3)Museum Visit
American Museum of Natural History

One can find lots of museum in the city, but would suggest American Museum of Natural History as it has display from Extinct World to Future World i.e Dinosors to Outer Space. Also, West part of the Central Park is opposite to it.

4)Central Park

Central Park

The best place to relax after a tiring tour would be central park. The stroll in the park, concerts and greenery make the visit memorable and eyeful.

5)Liberty Island

Statue of Liberty

To view the most notable figure, one needs to take a ferry to reach the Liberty Island. I feel it does not make sense to climb till pedestal of the statue . The view is best from outside. Also, tickets for Pedestal visit are sold out fast. If time is there, can visit Ellis Island in the return

6)Walk on a Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge

There are many bridges spread across the city and its a nice experience to visit one of them. The Brooklyn bridge above is one of the oldest suspension bridge. If walking is a problem, can rent a bicycle.

The list is exhaustive as there are some more interesting points like WTC Memorial, Wall Street, China Town and much more. Some of the them can be squeezed if time permits and are interested to visit. The city will never sleep and is available to welcome all of us.
