Many are of the opinion that its always nice to travel on our own and not go through any agent as it hinders opportunity to go at our will and pace. Completely agree. But in Bhutan,  it isn't worth the effort. And you will be left clueless at many places. Just go through a travel agent of Bhutan and not Indian agent. I keep pressing the fact that its best to travel with a Bhutan agent as we were the eyewitness on how Indian agents execute the tour and for the following reasons, a)Bhutan travel agency is recognized by the Bhutan Government and only 40 such agents exist b)The package is inclusive of travel,food, stay and places of interest c)The stay options are at minimum 3* as per the Bhutan standards and is regulated by Government d)Its a rule that a guide accompany us always and so you get more information about the places e)The travel in vehicle depends on the number of the people and they are strict about the same. A medley of emotions filled me when I entered the auditorium to receive the Best Student Award. I experienced happiness, excitement and nervousness at the same time. The dignitaries of the college and TCS were praising both the college and the unknown gentleman/gentlewoman (They were not aware who the awardee was:-) ). A thunder of applause filled the hall when the name was announced. It was such a great moment! I had been waiting for this since school days where I had lost similar awards on several occasions by a few points. After the presentation, my mentor talked about my achievements reasoning as to why I was conferred such an award. Then I had to talk:-( . My first public speech in the college.
