Visiting the touristy attractions in Singapore

We visited Singapore as a part of the 3 country visit trip to South East Asia. We left Bangkok in the morning and reached Singapore in the noon. Again the flight was delayed by more than 2 hrs and we flew in Air Asia. We checked into Fortuna Hotel which is in the Singapore's Little India district.

Same day we left to Night safari tour. The tour passes through 7 geographical regions of the world, from the Himalayan Foothills to Equatorial Africa. There is a Creatures of the Night Show after this, which are performed by nocturnal animals.

Next day, we started with Oriental City tour of Singapore visting, Merlion Park - a landmark of Singapore, Marina Bay Sands and Jurong Bird Park. We had lunch in one of the Indian restaurants and post that left to Sentosa Island in Cable Car. The Sentosa island is a popular resort which has world renowned Universal Studios and other attractions such as Marine Life Park, S.E.A Aquarium and Wings of Time laser show. The cable car journey to the island is spellbound, as it goes over the Sea.

We left to Sentosa Island again next day in car to visit the Universal Studios which was a day long event. The park is divided into 7 themes, Hollywood, New York, Sc-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far Far Away and Madagascar. The 4-D adventure show of Sherk is a different experience all together. My favorite is the Indoor Dark Roller Coaster in Ancient Egypt. We reached hotel in the evening and took a metro just for the experience to the next station and returned. We then went to the Mustafa market. We just settled with the memory cards.
