Mexico City Day 1

The journey to the Americas is not short and so I had endure the long flight time by random walks in the town. I forgot to mention ,how I reached the stay from airport. By all means take an UBER always. If not available, then go for official taxi companies only. The local cabs rig their meters and charge exorbitant . I took Metrobus to the downtown. Following the signage for metrobus will help you reach the bus stop. They dont accept cash and you need to buy metrocard before. Its available in the kiosk in the airport. I paid 30 Pesos to the downtown while a taxi may cost around 150 - 200 Pesos.

I had to walk for a km from the bus stop to the my stay and after checkin, just strolled in the town to know the neighbourhood and find some eateries around. Its not easy to hunt for vegetarian food when meat is consumed liberally. Most of the locals dont speak english and I had to depend on sign language or google translate. 

I found good bakery shop nearby and it was huge. I was spoilt for choices and you need take a tray and select whatever you need. I just took croissants and called it a day.
